The human mind never ceases to amaze me, truly. The question 'why' can be applied to just about everything man does, and to everything man brings about. The question to why these people choose to slaughter dolphins, peacable, funny, and friendly creatures is mindboggling.
Perhaps it comes down to that we humans need to feel superior to SOMETHING in this day and age, and whoopee, dolphins and whales seem to get it up for the Japanese. Perhaps it makes them feel big, taking down a man=sized creature, and a mighty mammal the size of a building, mind you, not by strength alone but by using sharp, torturous instruments designed to wear out the creatures gradually by blood loss. Man, God's greatest creation, is nothing but this, an empty parasite, with a major ego trip and in desperate need of divine correction.
It's things like this, really, that make you lose faith in humanity. I originally wanted to ask God, why did He create mosquitoes, those seemingly useless creatures that exist entirely to suck your blood, but I've changed my mind. I want to ask God why He created man, by far a useless creation, IMHO. Think about it for a second. What beauty exists in this world, man rapes, rends, and ravels in his futile quest to control the things around him, and any beauty that he creates he is afraid of and destroys.
I'm vented out for now. I'll be back on this topic, I promise.
